Biocube Algae Cleaning Magnet

Works like a dream and doesn't seem to bother the fish.

I’ve found the “corner” cleaning aspect and overall it does a pretty good job if you stay on top of your maintenance. If you let algae grow for too long, expect to work harder to remove it. I like that it matches the bio cube tank. I have used mag float for many years (over 20) and to me the magnet seems stronger, the attraction between the polar opposite is way stronger than any other cleaning device like this I’ve used. Time will tell how this ages, I will update if I find a diffing result(s) over time.

This cleans my Biocube 32 fairly well. A few passes a week can get rid of everything, except for the back of the tank. The edge piece works, but needs a few swipes more than the flat surfaces. Gets the job done.

Does not do much on the corners, which is what I specifically bought it for. Plus it falls off easily and sinks down to the substrate, then has to be cleaned off to prevent scratches.

This product is almost perfect for cleaning Coralife Biocubes. I have used it on my Biocube 32 and found that it cleans the glass MUCH better than other magnetic cleaners I have tried, and the curved edges are a real plus for those hard-to-reach areas on the aquarium front and sides. I found that it cleaned green and brown algae easily with 1-2 passes over the surface. I would have liked a larger footprint/surface area and a stronger magnet, but with a little practice you can avoid having the magnet detach. Perhaps this is only my personal choice and I would imagine that some prefer the smaller size because it can navigate between aquarium obstacles easier? I rated it highly based on the ease of use and thorough glass cleaning. It's become my go-to Coralife cleaner.

So I had a different glass cleaner and it wouldn’t get the curved/rounded part of the glass on the Biocube 32. I decided to give the Algea Cleaner Magnet a try (especially for the price $$$) and it works PERFECT . It gets that hard to reach place in that curved part of the glass. Great product ! I Recommend this products !

This works to an extent, and does not work very good. I am debating if I even want this thing still in the tank, as I have to use a completely different device to scrap the glass to actually get it clean.

Works great. I seen complaints about not working great on the round corners of the boicube. As long and you work this bad boy on an angle not strait up and down. It works like a champ.

The curved side of this cleaner allows for easier and better contact against the inside of the cylindrical tank I have. The tank I have is a top fin aqua phonics 3.5 gallon tank. With the price and free shipping, this has much better quality than the ones found in box stores or even wallymart. Save yourself a trip and get this online if you’re needing one.

I used this straight out of the package, worked great and quickly. this should be part of your tank maintenance weekly ,so there is no build-up. I have a 32 gallon biocube planted for freshwater fish. I will update if I discover issues.
