As a DIY enthusiast and occasional professional, I've gone through my fair share of screwdriver bit sets. Let me tell you, this DEWALT Impact Ready FlexTorq 40-Piece set (DWA2T40IR) is a winner. It's become my go-to for pretty much everything. First off, the variety of bits is excellent. It's got a great selection of Phillips, slotted, square, and Torx bits, covering just about any screw head I encounter. The fact that they're impact ready is crucial, especially when I'm using my impact driver. I've put these bits through some serious use, and they've held up remarkably well. So Many of the Wrong Thing

Okay, I needed one specific thing; a Torx T30 bit. So I figured that I'd get a nice big kit for my new impact driver, and that would serve my immediate need and any future needs I had. And this kit does have a lot in it, but it's really a lot of the same thing; 15 total philips bits (of limited varied sizes), four flatheads, an assortment of other bits including multiples of long and short Torx bits from T15 to T27...but no T30. Okay fine, I can get a T30 seperately. Not a huge deal. But there are other problems with this kit as well, like the stamping on the bits is sometimes illegible. So finding the right bit can be challenging. Also missing is a 1/4 socket adapter, though there is a 1/2" and some other bits that I have no idea what they do. I don't doubt that these bits are tough enough and will last a long time, but that only makes the inclusion of so many duplicate bits even more pointless. I now have a T30 and a 1/4" adapter on the way so my problems will be solved, but not by this kit.
