MOVED 2,300 MILES WITH THIS CARRIER IN MONSOON RAINS - IT IS WATERPROOF AND ADJUSTABLE - THE BEST BUY EVER!!!

This is the best roof top carrier and the price is incredible. I needed a roof cargo carrier that I could modify to fit next to my bike on a roof rack. I was moving 2,300 miles and was packed and needed the room. This carrier was perfect. I was able to adjust it to tie right next to my Thule Bike Roof Rack Carrier and fit quite a lot in it. I would guess I had the size around 11 cm. It tied down well and although I kept stopping the first 100 miles to double check my bike and this root top cargo carrier, nothing MOVED AT ALL.Now - IT IS WATERPROOF!!! Those who say it isn't simply didn't set it up correctly! I read one of the reviewers (THANK YOU SO MUCH!) who detailed how to set it up step by step, and that was all it took.It hadn't rained in the midwest - where I was moving from - in 4 weeks - but before i was 150 miles from my old home I hit massive storms. 50+ mile winds and rain that came slanted and in which you couldn't see to drive. I hit this one and off for over 7 hours!When I stopped for gas I checked the items in the carrier and every single thing was dry as a bone!

Worst purchase I've ever made....

I wish there was an option to rate in less stars. This product is completely flimsy and practically worthless. Not only did it take a long time to deliver, it's terrible quality. Six out of 8 buckles wouldn't stay buckled AT ALL! The only 2 functional buckles were both on the same side which rendered it useless. It came with an extra set of overlapping straps wit 4 buckles to secure (which must be to offset the horrible buckles) but there was no way that the extra straps would have been enough. Unfortunately, I ordered it for a camping trip and it was too late to find something else so the only way to use it was with an extra 4 bungee cords, a dozen zip ties and lots of prayers that it would stay up there. The only good thing about this bag is that the zipper and fabric seem to be of a decent quality. So.... basically an oversized duffle bag is what I purchased. Completely defeated the purpose I needed it for and I'll never use it again.
