Outback Trading Women's Rain Coat

Wife already had one so knew I wanted one. We both ride and had heavy drover coats but wanted something lighter for summer. Wore them to the Kentucky Derby this year and sat in the rain all day; we were dry and everyone around us was miserable! They are light and easy to pack but tough enough so you don't have to worry about tearing them up.

The two way zipper is almost completely unusable on my jacket. Even after soaping it the zipper is very hard to get started.

This was a gift for our son, who is 6'4" and ~ 195 lbs. We chose an XL and, overall, it fit well and is very well-constructed. The only suggestion I would make is to lengthen the sleeves ~ 1.5-2". The fabric is great - lightweight and relatively soft (not the stiff stuff too many waterproof coats and jackets are made of). We live in a warmer area of the country and I think he will be able to wear this 3 seasons.

I'm an Oilfield Worker that works in the blinding rain, howling winds and rough seas. I'm surrounded by valves, fittings, etc. that rip all the other rain jackets I've owned to shreds. This thing has lasted twice as long as any other one! All of my guys on the rig want one now! I love that it has the split in the middle up to about thigh high on me. It keeps you from tripping yourself when walking, but you can close it up if you're stationary. I ordered this thing with some skepticism, but from day one it has not disappointed. Better foul weather gear I've ever owned!

Haven't had a chance to wear it in the rain, so I can't confirm it will stay dry. But as for trying it on, it fits well and is the length I've been looking for. It seems a quality product, though I would like to have seen underarm venting. It has one interior pocket and two exterior pockets.

Love that these are made too keep you dry when riding, and they pack up into their own little backpack. They’re breathable which is a must in Florida, if it’s cold out just layer underneath.
