Looks and feels great!

I read a lot of reviews. I wanted to replace an old black, aluminum door handle with a brass one. In other product reviews I read that the underside of the handle was hallow and felt terrible on your hand, sharp, some said. Then I read a review for this one where the person mentioned that this one feels great, is solid, and not sharp and hollow like the one he was replacing. So I gave this one a try- and it’s perfect. Feels solid, looks solid. Inexpensively elevated my front door appearance. I’m a 63 year old woman, and relatively handy. I had to drill the center hole out for a proper fit (there are 3 holes in the storm doors for these handles), but it was super easy. Very simple installation. Highly recommend.

Solid feel but require a large center hole.

That seems like a nice quality lock for the price. The handle is solid and has a quality feel to it which is what I hated about my old handle. It was only solid on the outer side and the other side was hollow and I gave it very cheap deal. The lock feels much better. But for some reason this manufacture excited to make the center post require a 1/2 inch hole in the door. I’ve had three other locks like this and none of them have required a half inch center hole including the originals came with the door but for some reason this manufacture excited to make the center post require a 1/2 inch hole in the door.
