VTech Spin and Learn Color Flashlight

I bought this as part of our granddaughter's Christmas. It arrived on time and intact. I wasn't sure about this flashlight when it first arrived. It only puts out a very small diameter, weak, light beam, which seemed underwhelming. You can change the color of the light, but the colors aren't bright and strong. The yellow looks white to me. I thought she would feel similarly and I would end up returning it.I was pleasantly surprised when my grandbaby opened the flashlight and spent several minutes playing with it before becoming distracted by another new toy. She was able to change the color of the light easily and use the other buttons that talk and teach counting from 1 to 3. She was genuinely fascinated by the light beam and learning about the basic properties of light. She found it funny to shine the light on our clothes. After seeing her play with it, I am actually glad the light beam isn't bigger or stronger, because she often looked straight into the lens to see if it was still on/working. She also liked to shine it in our faces. So this flashlight is perfect for her, a 20 month old, or any younger toddler.
