great for extending rear facing usb ports

I now have three of these USB extension cables to bring the USB ports from the rear of my computer up to the front. I just have the wires clipped to the side of my desk so I can use them as needed. No longer do I have to move the computer out to plug in a USB device. They work for external hard drives as well as flash drives and USB dvd drives.

Good product if you transferring small GB files.

No sure what the issue is with this product, sometime transferring big files will crash the USB being transfer or dismount the USB for no reason. I'm only using it on a Mac but when transferring big file over 5GB, the USB would dismount. I don't have this problem plugging the USB directly to my Mac mini, other times it works fine if the file is small.
