Cool powerful little long necked vacuum
By Critic on Reviewed in the United States on February 16, 2025
This handheld light vacuum has exceeded all expectations. The design is sleek and modern, making it a stylish addition to any cleaning arsenal. Despite its compact size, the suction power is incredibly strong, effectively picking up dust and debris with ease. The long cord provides ample reach, allowing for uninterrupted cleaning sessions without constantly searching for an outlet. One of the standout features is the stem, which allows for easy access to tight spots, especially under furniture. It is surprisingly effective and makes cleaning those hard-to-reach areas a breeze. Overall, this vacuum is a fantastic choice for anyone looking for a powerful, convenient, and stylish cleaning solution. Not embarrassed to have it outside of its closet and be seen.

Don't buy it if you have long, thick hair. Otherwise, buy it
By Zyiael on Reviewed in the United States on February 12, 2019
Skip to the bottom for the TLDR;! Vacuums are the literal bane of my existence. I originally had a blue Shark Rocket just like this orange one, but one of my buns ate through the cord. Ever since then, I've been cursed to only find vacuums that commit sudoku with mine and my husband's hair. I live in a ~650sqft one bedroom apartment. It's not exactly a lot of space and the only carpet is the bedroom, living room, and the dining area. Kitchen and bathroom are linoleum. I have extremely thick and extremely long hair. I shed hair as much as any animal I've seen and if I don't vacuum about once a week, a nice layer of hair settles in areas where I'm commonly at. I mentioned that one of my buns (she passed a few years ago; RIP Oreo) ate through the cord of my first Shark. No, she didn't die from eating through the cord because she didn't literally eat the cord. She just ripped it to shreds and spit it everywhere for fun. The second vacuum I got was another Shark. It was lost to my hair, presumably because of the time it took me to get a new vacuum. The hair piled up and killed the vacuum. That's when I became aware of the issue of my hair. My parents had a Dyson vacuum to clean up the mess that is my constant shedding, as well as hardwoods everywhere except the bedrooms, so I never knew. So I buy a third vacuum, a red one that I literally don't remember the branding for at all. I got it as a cheap hold-over until I could afford to shell out another $200+ on a vacuum. It, too, was lost to my hair. I used it a single time and my hair got wound up in the motor of the brush roller and BURNED MY HAIR TO A CRISP around the motor gear so much so that I couldn't remove the hair. Toast. So I shell out the $170 or whatever it costs for another of the same blue Shark I had originally. After all, the only reason IT broke was because my bun ate through the cord. Three vacuums later and... toast. Same issue as the red no name vacuum, actually. Brush roller motor sucked up my hair as I vacuumed, burned it to a crisp and became impossible to use. It's not a lot of hair I find in there. Just enough to jam everything up and be impossible to remove. Now, onto this vacuum :/ I want to LOVE THIS VACUUM. It's great in every way. It's got fantastic suction and my floors felt clean the first two times I used it. It picked up a TON of stuff out of my gross carpets and I was finally feeling good about them. I'd been very diligent about cleaning my hair out of the roller and making sure the motor is free of hair so it doesn't fry and I'm excited because I think THIS IS THE ONE TRUE VACUUM. And then I use it today. I get the small piece of hallway in between my bedroom and bathroom and a little of my vacuum when I notice that I'm smelling burning plastic and hair and that the brush roller isn't actually pulling me across the floor anymore. The light is still green, as if everything is fine, but I turn it off and flip it over to clean out any hair that might be too tightly wound. Huzzah! The motor is fine. However... the opposite side of the brush roller that isn't attached to the motor is literally melted to the vacuum and can no longer spin. Hair probably got into this tiny nook between where the roller's end is housed and the roller itself. But I was only vacuuming for ~3 minutes. It felt pretty bad considering I paid 200$ for this vacuum. I don't think it's too much to ask that spinning parts not be open to things that can get caught inside, like human hair. But I also may literally be cursed because I haven't seen any other stories like mine. I can't give this vacuum five stars because despite it's normally fantastic performance, I feel like the plastic shouldn't have been so vulnerable to melting. I was only vacuuming for less than five minutes and the brush roller had been completely cleaned beforehand. The vacuum did not indicate that something was wrong, either. The light stayed green for the entirety of the three minutes until I shut it off because I smelt plastic and hair and wanted to save the vacuum. But I don't feel right giving this vacuum one star either. It performs REALLY WELL under normal circumstances and I think it'd make a great vacuum for most people. For those who might wonder: no, I'm not sick and no, I'm not balding. I've just always had a lot of hair break/fall out no matter what I do and my hair never gets any thinner despite it. I did recently cut off about eight inches of it, though, out of frustration and it helped the amount of hair breakage/loss. It sits just passed my shoulders now. /endrant TLDR; MY BRUSH ROLLER MELTED TO THE WALL OF THE VACUUM AND IT NO LONGER SPINS. But this isn't the first time it's happened to me, so: I can honestly say I DO recommend this vacuum if: -You have hair that isn't super long and super thick -You have pets -You like having a clean home -You want something small and versatile that isn't cordless (I dislike cordless vacuums) -You want something easy to store I DO NOT recommend this vacuum if: -You have murder hair
