Skechers Afterburn M. Fit Sneakers

I'm normally an 11.5 in Saucony, Asics, and other Skechers shoes I own (which I love), so I ordered the same size in these Skecher sneakers. While the length seemed almost right — with about a thumb’s width of space in front of my big toe — the overall fit felt slightly off. My heel kept lifting in the back, enough that I could tell I’d get blisters if I walked long distances. It’s not a full half-size too big, more like a quarter size — just enough to be annoying. But since they don’t make quarter sizes, I’m going to try a size 11 and see if that fits better. If you're between sizes or prefer a snugger fit, I recommend going down half a size. Unfortunately, sizing down to an 11 didn’t solve the issue. While my toes are now right up against the front — so any smaller isn’t an option — my heel still lifts out of the back with every step. It’s not just a minor annoyance anymore; it’s a recipe for blisters and constant irritation. I’ve worn plenty of Skechers in the past and always appreciated their comfort and reliable fit, but these miss the mark. Something about the heel design or overall last seems off. I really wanted these to work, but they’re going back. Disappointed, especially given how consistently well other Skechers have fit me.
