Great Vacuum

The vacuum arrived promptly, and I am very pleased with it. I was surprised at how well it cleaned my carpets, since it was a relatively inexpensive vacuum. It was easy to assemble, and has great suction. I love all the tools that came with the vacuum. I've owned it since before Christmas (2013), and so far I have no complaints.

The vacuum works good. The problem is that the vacuum is top heavy and the lock that holds the upright in place when stored does not hold the upright's weight. We paid 59$ for our Bissell vacuum and it lasted 6 years with heavy wear and tear. Eureka MyVac Rewind Allergy fell over from its own weight the first hour. We are keeping the vacuum because it just would not rather go thru the trouble of repackaging and returning the unit. My wife has to store this vacuum against the wall while stored, and using the hose attachment now has become difficult because of the vacuum's inability to stay upright.
