Pretty knife, does the job, and has a great cover so you can throw it in the drawer without a care!

I was hosting Thanksgiving this past year and realized my knife block set didn't have a carving knife! Thankfully I noticed this a few days before the big day, so I used my beloved Prime Shipping to get this baby in two days. I love the blue color. It doesn't match anything I have, but it just sits in a drawer anyway, so who cares? Still makes me smile when I use it since it's bright and cheery! My dad has always been our carving expert, so I let him do the honors at our house this year, and even he raved about the new carving knife! Had to try it out myself and agreed - smooth cut, nice blade, gets the job done. Can't beat it for the price! Love that it comes with that nice sheath cover, too, so I can toss it in the utensil drawer without having to worry about the blade getting dull or cutting off my hand when I try to reach in and grab it. Definitely recommend!

Not great, but not the worst.

It looks nice, and it feels decent in the hand. A little light to hold I think, but as far as sharpness goes? It didn't fare well against a 12lb turkey being used by a guy who's carved birds for a couple decades, so i think that speaks volumes. Price was good, but I think that was reflected in the sharpness.
