Bone China International Birds Mugs - A Touch of Nostalgia & Excellent Quality!

I love the design of these mugs. They definitely say 1960's to me which is what first attracted me to them. I was originally looking at the textured lattice design (which looks beautiful also), and then I saw these and had to have them. They are bone china with a very high quality painted design (on both sides of cup) and a good quality glaze. My one cautionary comment would be that because they are bone china, with a somewhat delicate handle, I take extra care in washing them / not stacking them with other dishes - just too easy to break the handles even though they are of excellent quality. They are pricey but worth it too me, because any day that I use them, they make me smile.

The cups are beautiful, truly, and a good size, etc. BUT one arrived broken and I had to send them back for a refund. This seems to be a common problem judging by the feedback here - you would think they would figure it out already. :(
