Perfect for Seniors with diminished hearing and others.

This unit is precisely what I wanted, adjustable tone to reduce bass sounds as they irritate old ears that have lost a good portion of both high and low frequency sound but heavy bass is painful for some reason. My primary need was Bluetooth with an aux sound input from the Panasonic TV. There are 5 preset ranges of sound which should suit everyone but they also have treble and bass adjustment plus Dynamic Bass. Surprisingly, I pumped up both the base and volume with Dynamic bass on and the sound didn't bother me at all. I wish they would have had an aux audio cable as an option or even listed a few in the manual. I have to read all these reviews for that information, maybe. I tried a cable from the headset receptacle on the Panasonic TC32LX70 (Mae2007) TV. That didn't work and I tried changing the audio setting on the TV. There is a digital audio output but I'm not sure if the speaker input handles that. So it's another research project when they just cold have put the info in the manual. Maybe registering it with Panasonic on line might provide more info. I'll do that. The manual says the battery replacement is CR2025 not CR2032 as some other reviewer claims. The remote is really small. I misplaced it and searched for an hour to find it, which was in the front pocket of my shirt. I'll buy some ribbon with a sticky pad which I can use to hang it up on a hook. Overall, it is a great speaker system for my family room and adjoining open kitchen. But I'm sure with it turned up I can hear it in the far corners of the house and even the basement. If you are a senior with failing hearing, this is perfect. Had to call Panasonic and pay 28 bucks for cabling info and here it is My Panasonic TV has an optical digital audio jack (single port analog jack) So the converter is required. Tried the headphone jack. That turned off the TV sound but no sound from the speaker. Ordered today Sat. Mar. 21 and promised delivery is next Tuesday. That's pretty good for standard delivery. Maybe because I pay for the Prime thingee from Amazon. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE! Out of the box appeared fine but would not connect to any blue tooth devices (tried laptop, desktop and 3 android phones). Remote didn't work. Called customer service but was told all of these units sold by Amazon were made in 2013 and no longer under warranty but since I just bought company would honor 1 year warranty IF I emailed or faxed a proof of purchase (POP). I did that as instructed. Called back an hour later referencing case number I was given, and was told (by a completely different person) that it would take 24-48 BUSINESS days (of course this was on a Saturday) to get confirmation of the POP. Pleaded with the tech service guy to just help me trouble shoot the problem and was told it was POLICY no help without POP. Asked to speak to a manager and was told no managers on duty. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE EVER! Will NEVER by another Panasonic product! FYI for future potential customers, during conversation about 2013 manufacturing date, was told these items are discontinued so buyer beware, if it ever goes down, don't expect a replacement, Panasonic doesn't have any!
