SOG Huntspoint Skinning Knife

great skinning knife, sharpened very well out of the box. wooden handle feels nice in the hand, and this may sound a bit odd, but i even really like the smell of the leather sheath that came with this knife. i like leather in general, owning alot of leather coats, belts, and knives with leather sheaths...however, the leather sheath with this one has a particularly good smell to it lol. its like catnip to me! there have been complaints in other reviews about the snap thong on the sheath...the thong with the snap to secure the knife is snug over the handle, which is a good thing as you dont have to worry about losing your knife! to properly snap it into place you need to ensure that you have the knife pushed all the way into the sheath...it seems to stop and its snug fitting so you think you have it all the way in, but acually if you push a little more it will go in another quarter or half inch. also, actually look and see how you line the snap up - i kinda pull the snap more towards the edge of the undersnap than i think i need to and it lines up perfectly, kinda have to get a feel for that or youll be pushing on it and its a good fit so it wont go if not lined up right. It seemed really tough to snap at first until i figured out it was so tight because i actually didnt have the knife in as far as it would go....now snapping it is a breeze and this is definitely my favorite skinning knife.
