Four Deer skinned and processed this past Bow Season. My hunting buddies couldn't keep their hands off of it. They have each since bought their own. I have carried on my belt every day since I received it. The leather sheath is of excellent construction and will last a very long time

defective sheath

good knife. good steel. Unnecessary large choil. Bad sheath. I didn't believe the reviewers who reported the button on the sheath failing but it has happened to me too. Sheath becomes useless when the plastic snap breaks. SOG tried to save pennies by not using a metal button snap. It's pathetic. This company is going down in quality. If you want to buy this knife, beware that you will soon need to replace the sheath. If this sheath breaks in the field, you will have no way to keep the knife secure. I would not recommend this knife because of the sheath. Look at other options like Becker BK16
