Perfect for my hood

I have a GE Profile hood that’s twenty years old and works perfectly but regular bulbs are not bright enough. This one fits perfect, has terrific light and is nearly flat on its face-no bulging out from the holes. Looks sleek and more like a pro hood vent. Works like a charm in my application.

I purchased this bulb from Amazon last June and it just died on me! Six months is not much use for a bulb that’s this expensive! It's in a bathroom, in the ceiling and gets turn on and off a lot. I would certainly like to know why it only lasted 6 months before I replace it!
