Exactly what I wanted

I like grits with breakfast and a single serving involves exactly 1/4 cup of dry grits. My measuring cups provided, at best, an approximation of 1/4 cup. So I literally bought this measuring cup just to measure a single serving's worth of grits. To my surprise, it turned out to be a really well-made, versatile little measuring cup. Sturdy stainless, sturdy handle that's tack-welded to the outside of the cup (no rivets to keep clean on the inside). And--bonus--filling dry grits to even with the top of the cup then adding to 8 oz of boiling water results in a perfect serving of grits.

This is not 1/4 cup. A 1/4 cup is 2 ounces this is 1.66.

I was going to give it 3 stars but the misrepresentation doesn't allow me to do that, so I give 2 because I can still work with it. There is nothing wrong with the item other than it is not what was advertised. I needed 1 1/4 cup for a specific reason and that is what I ordered and what I should've gotten, But I will keep this and just be careful next time. I have learned that this is the kind of stuff that should be bought in person and not on line.
