Perfect for my newly purchased at a yard sale iRobot Roomba

More cost effective than buying from the company that developed the vacuum.

Not as good as it used to be - hopefully it doesn't ruin my Roomba

If I was reviewing this product from when I first purchased it, 1.5 years ago, it would have been a 5-star reviews. The parts I received at that time fit my Roomba 650 perfectly and were identical to the original parts that came with it.I just re-ordered this, expecting to get the same quality OEM parts and am disappointed. I ordered a set, and when it arrived, the bristle brush didn't even fit in my 650. I managed to jam it in, but it was so tight it wouldn't spin and messed up the whole operation. The Roomba could barely move and just kind of went around in circles. I returned and ordered again, hoping it was just a fluke. The next set that came arrived last week. The brushes both fit a little better. However, my Roomba doesn't operate at top quality. The bristle brush doesn't seem as high-quality as the authentic iRobot brushes I've used in the past. Those bristles were always relatively firm and great at picking up hair. The bristles in this set seem very soft, and I can tell they aren't picking up much hair (as evidenced by the fact I haven't had to use the red tool to remove any hair in a household with three females with long hair). The side brush also doesn't spin properly on carpet. It's fine on the vinyl kitchen floor, but it now seems to get stuck and not always continuously spin smoothly on carpet. It makes a horribly loud noise, and I can watch the Roomba run right over small particles without picking them up. Because it seems to be working harder to get brushes to spin, my battery is also drained within 10-15 minutes, when, with my previous parts, it would vacuum for close to an hour.I'll probably make do with this set for now, but am sad that it seems even the "authentic" iRobot parts don't really work well and aren't quality anymore.

A great way to upgrade your Roomba's performance

I have a Roomba 650 which has been in operation for 1.5 years. I've been pretty diligent about cleaning brushes and such over that time but, I felt it was time for a refresh. Boy am I glad I did. Before installing the brushes, I took the time to remove his bottom cover, remove the brush housing and the wheels. I sprayed everything out with compressed air and reassembled, adding in the new brushes. I realize it might be due more to the cleaning but, he definitely runs quieter and picks up a lot more dust/dirt. New brushes made a bigger difference than I expected.I highly suggest taking the time to do a thorough cleaning of the inner workings. One thing to note - the bristle brush seemed a little tight when installing. Just push it as best as you can and test. In the end, mine works fine.

I was nervous when I read the name of the company that was fulfilling the order but when it finally arrived I was so relieved! They are authentic parts. The package includes 3 filters, a brush replacement, brush cleaner, a rubber thing (that sits besides the brush), and a 3 brush arm replacement. I definitely will be buying another one right away since the cost isn't bad and I like to stock up!
This is what you will have to do to make your filters fit

I was pleased at the price for these replacement parts, but wary as some reviews were very critical of their quality. I hope that this analysis will help those who purchase this adapt these filters as needed for their Roombas. I have a 600 series Roomba, and the brushes fit in perfectly - no issues. However, none of the three filters fit. They were all off by just a little , but that was enough to prevent the dust bin from clicking back in to the body of the Roomba. I did a little experimenting. In the first photo, you will see that the dimensions are subtly off - the replacement (the bright white one) is just a little too tall. This was true of all three filters. I could squeeze it down a little, but that wasn't enough. I pulled it out and compared the old and new closely - see the second photo. You will see that there is a tiny discrepancy is the way the side tabs are cut. The original (on the right) has more of a pronounced "U" shape, while the replacement is more of a slanted line. I took a pair of pliers and nibbled a little piece out of the tab - where I am pointing with the arrow - in both sides. Now the filters fit all the way in and the dustbin snaps into the housing again.I am giving this 4 stars because it eventually fit, but I had to work at it.
Second set of brushes/rollers saves TIME!

I have a fairly new 5' X 7' area rug in my living room which is still shedding quite a bit. Usually my Roomba's (named "Phineas"*) "tummy" is quite full and the brush clogged with lint after vacuuming about half the rug.Although it isn't difficult to clean the brush and roller, I thought by having an extra set, I could simply change out those pieces when I empty Phineas' "tummy" and then clean the brush and roller I'd removed when I have the time - getting Phineas "back in action" to complete his task much more quickly!Since purchasing this Replenishment Kit, that's what I do. When it looks like Phineas' ability to pick up is degrading. I stop him, empty his "tummy," remove the brush & roller and replace them with the second (clean) set, push the button and he's off again. While he's finishing up the room, I clean the brush & roller I'd removed so they're ready to go again for the next room. Saves time - which is kind of the whole point of owning a Roomba, isn't it?Having extra filters will come in handy as well. I wash my filters after they've been used a few times by first (gently) rapping the filter against the side of my kitchen sink to shake out any dust caught in the fabric, then I rise it thoroughly with warm water using the sprayer on my sink. I let it dry, then it's perfectly clean and ready to go. While I am sure doing this will extend the number of uses I get out of each filter, I haven't been doing this long enough to know just how many uses I will get out of one filter before the fabric begins to get holes or tears away. We'll see.*Roomba is "Phineas," and his partner, a Braava, is "Ferb."

It is great and original product. It fits perfect and work as described. I will be using it in the next months at a house with pets and will update later how this work out and how long is the real life of this filters. Please take care from which vendor you are buying. I bought two units. One sold by Amazon and the other from other vendor. The Amazon one was the original one as you can see in the left. The other one looks fake, all parts look cheap when compared with the other one. The screen in the filter are bad attached, the brushes are different, the red thing to clean the brushes has a different text and is not aligned printed.
GENUINE PRODUCT THAT LASTS A LONG TIME AND FITS PERFECTLY!!

This kit fits my Roomba 650 perfectly and has lasted 8 months so far. I'm glad I don't have to keep replacing the parts and that they fit exactly as intended. Having 3 filters makes cleaning and swapping them out regularly a non-issue. Yes you can reuse the filters. I simply tap the dust off of them in the trash can, rinse under the faucet, and then they go into the dishwasher on the top rack for a thorough cleaning. When finished, let them air-dry before stowing them away or reusing. Trust this genuine Roomba product!!

For the maintenance and care of your older model Roomba

This set is a little pricey but unlike my upright vacs, I will not buy generic parts for my Roomba. The parts are easy to replace and maintain. Just use a microfiber cloth or dusting glove to clean out the bin & replace the filter. There is a tool to clean hair off of the brushes. The little spinning part needs to be replaced more often than the brushes. You will need a Phillips head screwdriver to remove. Make sure to get any and all hair trapped underneath before replacing.Maintenance on the Roomba should be done monthly to remove excess dust and hair and to replace the filter. Unfortunately, finding just the filter replacements can be frustrating as I could not even find them on the official iRobot site. HSN has them. Three for $30.
