Polo/Ralph Lauren EDT

Maybe it’s me but with this recent purchase the formula isn’t strong like it was in the 90s. Now Polo Ralph Lauren is still an aromatic, woody & pleasant fragrance, but in the 90s it was strong. Intense. Overpowering. This is going to sound a little wild but for me it was so potent that if you sprayed too much of it… or accidentally sprayed directly in front of your nose…you would choke as if you were spraying a pesticide instead of a cologne. Imagine if the makers of Raid Max attempted to get in the fragrance business, to get an idea of what I mean… Obviously a faction of customers complained because the new formula is mild in comparison. The potency & staying power is not as strong as the versions I enjoyed in the 80’s, or 90’s. The bottle I bought recently performs like a true Eau De Toilette (EDT), while the bottle I purchased in the late 90’s was also labeled EDT but performed like an Eau De Parfum (EDP), or a Parfum even… I missed the brute strength & power of the old “green bottle” Ralph Lauren Polo. I wish they would bring it back because that previous potency is what I was looking for when I purchased this bottle.
