The area in which I live has extremely hard water so the fight against spotting and hard water buildup on porcelain sinks and acrylic showers is never ending. I discovered Repel at my local hardware store and fell in love with it. It not only cleans away the crud left by hard water plus soap, but it also puts down a coating that prevents hard water spotting. As I worked through my previous supply, I stopped seeing Repel on the shelves; for several months, I couldn't find the product. I watched the shelves at my DYI store, the hardware store, Target, the supermarket. Nothing. SO when I found it again at Amazon, I was thrilled! (I just hope it was off the market for a packaging change and not a reformulation.)

It made a terrible streaky mess on my mirror and shower.

Using the product made a huge amount of streaks. It took a good 30 minutes to correct the streakiness by using a different product. Don't waste your time or money.
