Fantastic case

Well made, solid, protects my case well! Only downside is that the space at the top of the case (the opening for the speaker) lets in dust and dirt. I solved the problem by putting several layers of tape on the inside of my case to fill the void. I do not use the holster clip, so my review does not reflect this part of the case. There are a lot of negative reviews on this case due to it's size. Please know that this is a DEFENDER case, it's MEANT to be sturdy and rugged to protect your case in the event of a drop. Otterbox sells a commuter series that offers similar protection, but is smaller and easier to fit into your pocket. Do not buy this type of case if you want something sleek and slim, but do buy it if you want a high level of protection!

Great product, but just not for me.

After breaking two phones in less than a year, I finally decided to get an Otterbox Defender. The case IS very sturdy and I could probably drive over it and it wouldn't break, but I really dislike all the added bulk. Additionally, the rubber outer covering never quite fit flush with the hard case, and always had gaps in it, which bugged me a lot. I also removed the plastic cover because it never adhered flush like a film on the screen. I purchased the pink case so it would look different than my husband's, and it got dirty pretty easily and quickly. there was no way to clean it. In the end, I went with an Otterbox Commuter case and I am much happier with it overall.
