A great rifle light
By Turner on Reviewed in the United States on May 29, 2019
I really like this flashlight so far. I mounted it on a .300BLK rifle and have fired a few hundred rounds through it with the flashlight in place, no issues from the light during firing. It feels solidly constructed and has a reasonable weight and size. There are certainly smaller and lighter lights out there, but I feel this one is a good blend of size and durability. I've ran it for about an hour total so far and no need to change the batteries yet. I mounted it on the rifle so the thumb on my support hand can easily reach the button, I've had no issues operating the light while maintaining control over the rifle.I like the press=momentary and full click= constant, it seems more in line with regular pocket flashlights and doesn't require learning new controls. Some lights out there need a users manual to operate properly. I like to test weapon lights by sitting in a dark room for a few minutes until my eyes adjust, the turn the light on a white wall. If I don't have to reflexively turn my head or close my eyes I call it good, and this light passed that test. Its bright, but not so bright you blind yourself at 3am trying to find the meth-addled ax murderer who just kicked in your front door.Overall, 5 stars for a solid, reliable product that is a good size/weight and easy to use. Also can't complain about the price, it is very reasonable in a world of $200+ flashlights.Update: I've been to the range a bunch in the last few months, I've put around 1000 rounds through my rifle and the light has held firm and works perfectly still. I tried it out at night in the woods, good field of view and brightness at range.

If you are looking for a flash light and have no idea what you want - this is a great light and it deserve 5 stars (I just missed 2 stars accidentally). It will last till you loose it. It is bright and it is very TACTICAL. Yes, I recommend it. You may stop reading at this point since following may confuse you and seeds hesitance in your soul.Rant begins. I understand but despise that the spec of the flash light is consumer driven and 99% consumers have no clue what they want thus they guided by "bigger is better" paradigm. I don't need 300 lumen for clearing/searching/walking a house at night. It will dispatch my night vision for 30 minutes. For all the listed scenarios I need as little light as possible that allow to ID the target/navigate and to be stealth. I don't need a light house in my hand since I don't plan to aid ship and airplane navigation. Rant ends.* The output is slightly above of acceptable range for for indoor use if you care about your night vision.* Ok for mid distances outdoors* as usually sturdy and reliable* I like color temperature quite a bit less fatiguing compared to cheaper bluish LEDs* I so happy that it does not have those "modes, zooms etc.". It is surprisingly hard to find a light without those "features"5 stars for execution. 2 star for too high output. Previous generations used to have 200 lumen or less. I miss them so much.
