Reliable Power with Added Peace of Mind for Families
By Brandon S. on Reviewed in the United States on June 25, 2025
I use Duracell 2032 lithium batteries in a bunch of my devices — from key fobs to my garage remote and even my kids’ small electronics. What really stood out to me is how long-lasting and dependable they are. I’ve had these batteries sit unused for months and still perform perfectly when I put them in. As a parent, I also appreciate the added child safety features. The bitter coating on the batteries is a smart touch — it’s designed to discourage little ones from swallowing them, which gives me extra peace of mind. Plus, the packaging is tough to open without scissors, which helps keep these small but powerful batteries out of reach. They hold their charge well, and I love that Duracell guarantees up to 10 years of shelf life — so I’m not constantly worried about them going dead in storage. If you’re looking for batteries that combine performance with thoughtful safety features, this pack is a solid choice.

You'll need special equipment to open the packaging !!

Although I'm sure the batteries will last a long time and do their job correctly - the packaging is ATROCIOUS !!! It states on the front Child Secure ! Bitter coating ! Fine - THAT MUCH I understand - but since I generally don't lick my batteries that doesn't concern me. What DOES CONCERN ME is the incredibly hard to open packaging THIS specific type of battery is enclosed in !! My GOD !! This is ADULT-PROOF !!! I was fighting with the packaging to open it and get to my battery for HALF AN HOUR !! No exaggeration !!!
