Just the lamp I've been looking for

Absolutely delighted with this lamp!! Using it as a computer desk lamp and it's PERFECT. It's well made, adjustable so the bulb does not glare into your eyes and really beautiful. 60 watt equivalent bulb emits a concentrated yet diffuse light that makes the space feel cozy and warm instead of glaring and utilitarian, like so many desk lamps. The pieces of glass in the shade are beautiful--especially the small pieces of colored glass. Thank you Dale Tiffany Co. for making me very happy today.

An ok lamp til it needs a repair

This is a nice-looking lamp, albeit a bit bulky. It is top heavy and doesn’t lend itself to being fully stretched out. I purchased two in December 2017, one lasted about 4 years. One snapped at the cantilever, even though I kept it in the traditional ‘v-shaped’ position, so the heavy shade was balanced over the heavy base. The rod material is not metal, it’s some sort of plastic, and thus cannot be fixed by welding. I was just SOL. So, though the lamp is pretty, let the buyer beware that the lamp has a short shelf life by design.
