Stones are great to cook pizza on!
By Jimminnm on Reviewed in the United States on July 12, 2015
Ceramics are great to cook crisp crust on. Mine had no flaws and when treated well should last for years. I have been using one for 20 years in the house. I bought this one for the RV Grill. Do not clean ever clean with soap, hot water only. Never heat a wet stone, they must be kept dry or oiled. A well seasoned stone will become heavily oiled with time. I use a razor blade laid flat to scrape it clean. A deep scratch can make it crack, so don't scratch it.

Broke on first use
By Susan on Reviewed in the United States on May 31, 2014
My husband took the stone out of the box and put it on the gas grill -- the stone was fine. He turned on the grill to preheat for a pizza -- the stone was fine. He lifted the top of the preheated grill and put the pizza on the stone -- the stone was fine. A few minutes later he took the cooked pizza off the stone -- the stone had broken in two. This set was not cheap but I wanted to get something of good quality because I knew we would use it often. Guess I picked the wrong one.
