Anchor Hocking 69590AHG17

I bought this 3 pack because I wanted something unique to put candies in from Christmas. I usually put candies and organic treats in my kids' and husband's stockings for Christmas and then we are left with candy, bags of dehydrated strawberries, etc. everywhere and nowhere to go with it. This year, I bought these and labeled each one with Ball Dissolvable Labels with their names on the lids. They look nice on the counter and no one steals from anyone else's jars. The treat thieving was becoming an issue for my daughter because my son and husband would always pillage her pile and she'd be left with nothing while their piles kept growing. Terrible, terrible men in my household ha ha Now since these are see through and labeled, order is maintained in the house and if any sticky fingers get into my daughter's jar, it is easy to tell and to nip it in the bud. I wouldn't put anything in here that could go stale unless you bag it up first. They hold a fair amount of goodies without being overwhelming on the counter so I am glad I got this size. Now my mind is milling over other things I can do with these. I think they would be very useful in our craft room for instance to hold supplies and leave them easily accessible. I'll have to come up with a plan for organizing them on our shelves, but I am pretty sure I will be ordering more. I love another reviewer's suggestion to put oatmeal mixes in it and some of the other uses I have read through the reviews are very cool too. These are very versatile jars. That said, Anchor Hocking should really offer a set with airtight lids. I could get A LOT of use out of them that way and would probably buy them out! Mine all shipped perfectly-no problems when I received, no breakage or anything.
