the ultimate tall persons chair

in response to all the wonderful campchair owners who answered my seat height question so promptly - yes the seat is 25 inches from the ground. the arm rests are 32 in high and the back is 39 in. the canvas is a high quality heavy duty weight. the chair is very sturdy and stable. it is stiff to open but locks in place which i consider a good thing. this surpasses any director type chair. at 5'10" i can hop in and out easily. at 9 lbs very portable but not flimsy. as most tables are 30" high ill be able to scooch up next to one for dinner. yes, im gushing - thanks for all the well deserved reviews that were sent in and add me as a very happy camper, eagle watcher, etc.

WELL MADE, BUT POORLY ENGINEERED

I needed a taller than normal folding chair to use by my work bench in the garage. This is it! Well made, Rugged. should last me. I took off one star only because the brackets that hold the foot support strap should have been tighter so that you could keep the strap up when you want it out of the way. I do use the support strap & it IS a nice feature. But there ARE times when the strap is in the way, but I can't do anything about it. I fold up the brackets & it immediately just flops down. Update: after having a few months... Down graded to 2 stars from 4. That darn foot-rest strap is so annoying that I don't even use this chair any more. I may yet remove the brackets or somehow modify them so they will stay up. The real problem, for me, is that I can't scoot back in the chair right with the stupid foot strap in the way, but it just flops down when I put it up. But, once seated, the strap is nec. or the seat cuts off circulation to my legs.
