DeWALT 20V MAX Li-Ion Circular Saw (Open Box)

I received this saw as a gift for Christmas but didn’t open it until mid February and boy was I disappointed. I wished I had opened it sooner so I could’ve returned it. I own other DeWalt tools and have been extremely pleased with them, but this saw did not live up to those expectations. The first problem i encountered was the adjustments on the saw. The blade cut depth adjustment is difficult because the the saw plate does not move easily. I find I need to tap (hard or soft depending on the blade depth) to get it to adjust. Although I guess you could just leave it at the max depth but you’ll be cutting deeper into your support material. The bevel adjustment is also difficult to adjust. So I just left mine alone after trying to play with it. I don’t want uneven cuts. The other problem I have (and it could just be me) is with the trigger button to start the saw. The button to be able to activate the saw trigger seems cumbersome to me and I am unable to operate the saw with one hand. So for me, I need to use both hands to activate the saw. This proves a bit challenging when I’m using my left hand to hold a guide for cutting. So if buy this saw, keep this issues in mind. As far as cutting the saw has good power, cuts easily, and is fairly light and its color makes it easy to locate among tools and materials.
