Great Case for the New iPad!

Just got this Belkin Pro Color Trifold case today for my New iPad (3rd generation). After ordering, I had read a review here on Amazon that said the sleep/wake function didn't work, so I was concerned about that. The sleep/wake function works great on mine. I really like everything about this case. It's lightweight, looks good, has a great method of holding the iPad that is protective but easy to insert and take out, and the material outside and inside is soft and nice but has really good grip, which is very important to me. I use my iPad a lot for reading books and magazines, and the cover folds flat underneath, and it's very comfortable to hold book-style. Folding the cover into the stand or typing mode also works well. The strap under the cover holds the cover closed when carrying, but it's easy to undo to open it. It's exactly what I've hoped to find for my iPad. I would give it six stars if I could :)

Still not sleeping correctly

Got the case despite reviews that it does not work with The New iPad, because Belkin's site says they have since fixed the issue. When it arrived, I found that it would turn on well, but would not turn off consistently, even when the strap was used. Sometimes I would leave it sitting for an hour or two, and find it lost 30% power and is warm! Overnight last night, it lost 65% power with the strap on. Normally, it loses 0% or 1% overnight. When I called Belkin, they asked for the model #, so I read it to them from the inside of the case. They couldn't find the model #. The operator put me on hold several times (over 20 minutes of phone call!!) and could not find it anywhere - I assume she was putting me on hold to have other people help her, and they couldn't either. So, she directs me to return it to them and get a replacement. She tells me to go to the Web site and enter a ticket and she will stay on the phone with me. The ticket asks for the model #. The ticketing system does not recognize the model # either. So, 27 minutes in to the call, she transfers me to Customer Service. George from Customer Service tells me that he can replace it, but I have to pay to ship it to him. He then told me that I can return it to Amazon without paying for shipping - so that is what I am doing. But I'm not getting this model again - I'm going to get one that will sleep correctly and won't burn up my battery power. Total call time: 40 minutes. Otherwise, it's a nice case!
