Get out of your chair and shake it...

I purchased the Fitryo Total Bar a couple months ago and have used it regularly since. While I was introduced to this type of equipment through physical therapy for a rotator cuff injury, I use the Total Bar to combat the sedentary nature of my job. I have a desk job so I spend the better part of my day sitting in front of a computer monitor. While I generally walk or run during my lunch break, I need something for the hours before and after lunch, and the Total Bar fits the bill nicely. I set a sixty minute timer on my PC, when it goes off I hop up and do a minute each of at least three exercises. I find this has helped me keep a rather steady energy level through the day, I don't feel as stressed at the end of the day, and of course the health benefits are a given. The Total Bar is very well constructed with a comfortable rubber grip and rubber weights at each end of the bar. In use the Total Bar is easily comparable to a Body Blade if not better. If I were forced to nitpick, it would be that the bag/case that came with my Total Bar is a touch small. It is a chore to get the Total Bar into and when closed it doesn't completely encase the bar. If the bag were about 1/2" bigger in both length and diameter, it would be perfect. I only use the bag when toting the bar back and forth from work, so it's not a big deal. In short: A very well made, effective tool, easily comparable to higher cost devices. I would (and most likely will) buy again.

Not ideal
By Gabrielle on Reviewed in the United States on March 1, 2024
I work as a physical therapist. Have used the body blade brand in the past but thought I would give this a try because of good reviews I have read and significantly less money. Liked the booklets it came with for workout references and it was definitely usable...BUT their is not a lot of flex with this product which is what makes these type of body bars so effect for things like shoulder rehabilitation. The vibrations from the bar moving as you shake it work the muscles more. This when the bar is not as flexible there are not as many vibrations...kind of defeating the purpose. It work fine if your on a strict budget but I ended up returning and splurging for the body blade brand.
