Teva Men's Deacon Shoe, Brown, Size 9

These are cool. Very stylish and well made. I needed a sandal incorporating a closed heal since I use orthodic arch supports and the closed heal is necessary to keep the orthodic in the sandal The width is a little wider which is also good for my foot and just good in general since it allow your foot to expand fully when a lot of weight is applied when walking. The toe section is hard like a hiking shoe which I like for two reason: (a.) I won't stub my toe and (b.) the toe will retain it's shape and not bend into to my foot when walking (which can be uncomfortable). Finally, I just really like the look. PS: I was not paid or offered a discount for this review. I just like it when somebody makes a good product and I want to express it. As a follow-up, I used these on a recent vacation to Greece and they performed brilliantly. Love the fact there is a ample support in the arch area so walking a long time does not fatigue your feet as quickly. The sole grip was also very well thought through. Two thumbs up!
