Albanese Gummies, Sour Gummy Bears, 4.5-Lb Bag

I have been buying these for years with no issues, they have always arrived fresh and with no problems. I purchased this bag from King of Sweets and the candy is stale and hard, just not edible. The manufacture date on the bag is not legible (see photo) so I have no idea when they were actually made or how long they may have been in storage. King of Sweets customer service refused my request for return, replacement or refund insisting that they are “as fresh as cab be”, so they are headed for the trash and I am out $20. This candy is great, but be careful which vendor you choose to purchase them from. King of Sweets customer service contacted me on 2/4 and offered a replacement. One month later, nothing has arrived.
