day pack for walking
By A. Z. Hill on Reviewed in the United States on April 22, 2024
I am on my third one of these. I wear them out - thought they are sturdy and last a long time. They are perfect for my daily walks - it holds a water bottle in one holder and the bigger zipped pocket holds phone, tissues, lip medication, dog treats to share along the way. I have given them as gifts to walkers I know since they admire it so much.

I love this pack but the stitching for the water bottle holder is coming apart and its worthless without it.

The strap wears loose after a fair amount use use. Outside that it's a great funny pack. I been using them for years when the belt goes I order another one

Simple fanny pack that allows hands free walking. Pocket holds a phone and a few other things, and of course, the water bottle fits nicely (I have.a Camelback, approx 16 oz. bottle).
just what I was looking for...

I've been looking forever for a "fanny pack" that 1) didn't look ridiculous, and 2) was just the right size. This waist pack is simple enough to be not at all cumbersome, but plenty large enough to carry everything I need when hiking with my Pup (like an extra small bottle, a small dish for his water, a small towel). I immediately ditched the plastic water bottle and replaced it with my own stainless steel one, which fits perfectly thanks to the drawstring opening. This feature also keeps bottle secure when I pick up the pace. The front pocket makes my phone and small reward treats readily accessible. I use this pack nearly everyday and it's holding up great....even when I spray the whole thing with bug spray before our treks. And the price? Unbeatable.

These packs are just the right size for a phone + card wallet and a water bottle! The material and construction is good, too. My teens and I love them for walks and short hikes.
Tiny Waist Belt

Not for those sized 2xl or larger. Only holds up to a 20oz bottle of water.
Really wide belt, but sturdy and useful size

No bottle was included and there was none in the photo for this product when I ordered it, despite reading comments about a bottle. The belt and fastener is huge compared to my fanny pack. I can see the need for the support when I put a 16.9oz water bottle inside an insulated pouch (not included with the pack) in the bottle section of the pack and load up the zipper pocket with a necklace type battery powered fan & spare batteries, phone, travel size lotion and tissues, a small plastic grocery bag and a stick of lip balm. Sometimes I put a short 8oz bottle in the zipper section, put my phone in a pocket and put a small and light weight umbrella in the bottle section. Either way that's a lot of weight in the pack but it feels secure and it is comfortable to wear but it can get hot under that wide band. It is probably best to have a thick absorbent fabric between you and the waist pack. I wear the pack over my clothes, not in belt loops My jeans and t-shirt do an adequate job of isolating my skin from the belt and absorbing perspiration. I leave some slack in the waist strap to let it drop a bit below my high/short waist as a tall bottle will bump my chest if I put the pack at my actual waist. With my waist being much narrower than my hips, it stays put nicely while I'm walking. This pack does the job I require of it so I'm happy.
Too small to use

The quality of this item was fine, but the belt that clips around the waist is small. I wear a size 16 pants and I could not fasten it, it seemed to be more for a child.
Super for the price

I purchased 2 black Everest Waist Packs with Sports Bottle for less than $2 each plus shipping, so less than $10 all together. Would love it if the seller would bundle shipping; but for the price I can't complain. I bought for a 4-year old and a 6-year old. Wanted a water bottle and a small zippered pocket - big enough for snacks, a small poncho, tissues, etc. yet small enough for kids. 4-star instead of 5-star: I needed to make a modification. The waist is too large for little kids - the belt is adjustable only on one side. For each pack, I bought a 1.5" strap holder, unsewed the end of the buckle, and re-assembled it as an adjustable strap. With both straps adjustable, they fit my skinny little 4-year old, as well as adjusting for an adult. The construction is quality, the zipper is good, the material is fine, the engineering is decent. The bottle is uninspiring; but adequate. Nothing fancy like breathing, sweat-reducing fabric or anything like that; just a well-built simple sub-$10 pack. This works great for what I wanted. My little people carry their own stuff. It is less cumbersome than a backpack and doesn't get taken off and left as frequently. It does get in the way a bit for a 40-lb person; but anything smaller simply wouldn't suffice to carry what she needs for a few hours of hiking, amusement park, or whatever we're up to.
