This item is great! The record player runs smoothly and so do the other features! The record player works well. The radio is significantly louder than the record player.the record player is just loud enough. The other features are great as well.I don't have a use for the cassette player but it is cool to have.Its sleek and stylish and nice for a college dorm(which is what I'm using it for!) make sure to switch the voltage in the back to 110 before you use it so radio works but besides that its pretty tight :) Have fun!

I ordered this product in October 2013 as a Christmas gift. I had turned on the radio once to check the sound, static like all radios have, before wrapping it, however, I didn't check the speaker quality with a CD or tape. The speakers were bad, static all the time. It sounds like an ancient system. I have friends who have similar items and they work fine. I'm unable to return or replace the item because the return window has expired. I am now stuck with a broken product until I can find someone who can replace or fix the sound system. I am also disappointed because I purchased the extra warranty, Squaretrade electronic protection, which wouldn't cover the item because it arrived damaged. Thus, I am forewarned to check thoroughly any electronic product that I purchase, either from a store or online.
