Best investment you can make.

I bought this desk in 2017. It is still amazing! I have moved four times and it’s so easy to move. You just fold it up and put it back together. It is the only piece of furniture I’ve ever gotten that I could assemble. Truly, is you take it out of the box You screw the feet in the first time you get it and then you just unfold it and put the top on. It has lots of room, but it’s not massively big and when you fold it down, it takes no space at all really. It’s perfect for that guest room that almost never gets used and you want to use it as a home office. When you do have guests, you can fold it up and put it out of the way. I love it.

I hope the build quality could be better...

While the desk seems okay, I would say that I was expecting better build quality with something that's over 100$. I was extremely fond of this folding desk idea from a company that gave itself a name called Origami ( the Japanese word for paper folding). But the desk does not seem very well built. It would not open flat unless you give it some extra force to push it down. This is because the metal bars are a little bit too long and push strongly against each other when you open the desk. The center-left bottom plate is also bumpy (I don't know how to phrase this exactly, it bumps up and down when you press down on or release it). Also, the desk is a little bit small for my taste, but that's solely my fault since the dimensions are clearly written. Putting a laptop in front of you would leave you about the length of a B5 paper. This distance is comfortable for typing on the laptop, but not for putting some paper in between and writing on them comfortably. Although most buyers would buy this desk for a self-built PC, I'd say that you have similar space left when you put a monitor at the rear end and a keyboard in front of the monitor. As a conclusion, this desk has a great design idea but didn't deliver a build quality that I had expected for this price. Now that I'm kinda stuck with it, I'm hoping that this thing is durable. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- UPDATE Oct 2017 After I bought the case for my first ever PC build I don't know whether I should laugh or cry. The metal plate under the desk is too small for an ATX mid-tower case (namely Corsair 200R). If you put it in the way the item picture does, the front 20% of the case will poke out and hang in the air with no support. If you put the case in the lateral direction, it makes you hard to reach the front panels. Obviously, this geometry is only suitable for those office-use OEM computer cases. Lesson learned. I'll probably get rid of this desk in a year or two. It's still not bad, it's just awkward. Hope I can give this thing a 2.5 star.
