Not your typical rechargeable battery
By Neemund on Reviewed in the United States on August 31, 2013
When I first saw these I had never heard of rechargeable alkaline batteries. Unlike normal Ni-Cd or Ni-Mh batteries, these can be stored for long periods of time without draining. They also work best with low-drain devices. I use these in flashlights since they can be stored for long periods of time, and I use them in my TV remotes for the same reason. They do not work well in any of my digital cameras or in external flashes since those require fast draining batteries. Rechargeable alkaline batteries will not safely charge in a normal battery charger. You'll need to purchase a charges made specifically to charge alkalines. I use a charger from i-Go that will charge these as well as charge Ni-Mh and Ni-Cd batteries. Overall I am happy using these, and the fact that they are made in Canada rather than China is a nice bonus.
