Exceptional quality and a wonderful buy!

Recently I decided to display my kitchen utensils in a decorative crock on my counter. In doing so I quickly realized there were some that really needed to be replaced. I have a few of the KitchenAid utensils in aqua sky which match beautifully in my Coral kitchen. When I saw this one at such a reasonable add-on price I couldn't resist. This has to be the best $3 I have spent in years. First let me address the picture online which appears to be more of a mint green color. It is in fact the beautiful turquoise Aqua Sky of other KitchenAid products. Secondly in measuring mine I find that it was actually a full 14 inch long. The spoon part holds exactly 1/2 cup. I'm sure this will be perfect for a basting spoon, as another reviewer said it is perfect for serving soup. My first use was serving stew beef. I am more than pleased with the spoon and in fact plan on ordering two more so that I can get rid of some of the ones I have that are so old and discolored. What a Wonderful by this has been

Meh...Not the best product from KitchenAid.

Not my favorite purchase from KitchenAid. The handle is bulky and doesn’t store well. The spoon is big enough to be a ladle which is nice when making soups. I love the color but it stains really easily and those stains have yet to come out despite my best efforts :( It’s not super sturdy (bends with weight) so if you are going to use it for anything heavier than soup it might be difficult. It’s not the worst but not that great... probably one of those utensils that makes the cut each time I move but won’t be used that often.
