Best corkscrew there is.

I bought my first Pulltaps corkscrew 28 years ago at a shop in the basement of the Louve museum in Paris, so I could open bottles of French wine in my hotel room. I paid four times then what they cost now. Previously, I had only used the two-arm butterfly-style corkscrews, and afterwards I never again used any kind other than Pulltaps. They’re waiter-style, small enough to carry comfortably in a pocket, and they have two stages to give maximum pull with least effort. The foil cutter blade has serrated teeth and works well. I’m a corkscrew snob, so I carry my own corkscrew to every gathering where I bring wine, because homes at gatherings I attend often have worthless butterfly corkscrews or heavy metal rabbit ears contraptions that leave you wondering why anybody would buy a thing like that just to pull a cork from a bottle. Often I forgetfully leave the corkscrew there or give them away as gifts, so I’ve had at least a dozen by now. They’re cheap enough now and always have worked perfectly. I keep buying them.

Pull a cork? Sure it will, but it's a cheapened version
By Kevin on Reviewed in the United States on January 3, 2016
Here's my take on the whole REAL vs NOT REAL debate. I too have used older ones and they are simply fantastic, solid pieces of design and manufacturing. The one I received via Amazon is definitely not up to that same quality. I believe it is real but I also believe the design and manufacturing have changed. The tolerance of the foil cutter and body interface make the blade wobbly on the one I received. The puller body is not a solid piece; trivial but telling. These are definitely cheapened versions compared to older versions. Will it pull a cork? Sure it will, but if you are looking for the quality of older models, you might consider spending your money for something else.
