HP 61 Black Ink Cårtridge, 2 Cartridges

Would recommend not purchasing from this seller. We bought two HP61 black cartridges supposedly in a twin pack on March 25, 2024. They arrived as two individual cartridges but no issue, until I tried using them. My HP61XL black Finally ran out of ink, too late and past return date. So I installed the 1st cartridge from Everything Business Depot. The printer, HP Envy 5530, then said "printing only in single cartridge mode” and it indicated that it did not recognize the new black cartridge. I thought this odd as the cartridge was an original HP61 cartridge in a sealed box. So, I removed and reinstalled it several times while powering up and down several times and same result. So, I thought I’d try the 2nd cartridge, which I did and had the exact same result, the printer, HP Envy 5530, said "printing only in single cartridge mode” and it indicated that it did not recognize the new cartridge. I started thinking maybe something was wrong with our printer. I went out to Best Buy and bought an HP61 black cartridge and installed it and sure enough it worked just fine. So, both of these cartridges from Everything Business Depot were defective. Unfortunately I can’t return them as it was past the return date so we lost $39.99 in buying these two defective cartridges. I had never really thought about expiration dates on inkjet cartridges but then on the two boxes I looked and saw that both cartridges had expired in February 2024(printed on actual cartridge was 2024/02/07, Feb 7, 2024). So this seller shipped us two cartridges on March 25 2024 that had already expired on February 2, 2024. This is just not right and next time I purchase cartridges from Amazon I will Most Definitley make sure it is not from this supplier. Will never order from this seller ever again, nope!!!
