Great lunch box.
By Roland James on Reviewed in the United States on February 9, 2012
I bought this because I needed a lunch box for work, and wanted something not too big, and that was a bit rigid. This thing fits the bill perfectly. It is very light, and has a strap that makes it easy to carry. It also has a quick door in the top (held with Velcro) that allows you to toss in, or retrieve, a few things without having to unzip the top. Not entirely sure of what the inside is made of, but you can wash it out. I expect you could use it for an emergency fire bucket too, as the inside is one solid piece of blue foam-like material. Size wise, I generally carry a can of soup, a plastic Ziploc bowl, a piece of fruit (Apple, Banana, etc), a pack of crackers (the long ones from a box), a small bottle of juice or water, and a breakfast bar or two. It can be a bit snug, but with the can in the bowl, it all works out. It is fairly rugged, and oddly enough matches the interior of my car. What more can I say, for the price and quality, it almost beats the old school metal Spiderman one I had as a kid.

Leaks
By Deborah Pierce on Reviewed in the United States on July 24, 2021
I wish I had tried using this prior to eligibility for return. The only good thing I can say about it is that it's roomy. could hold six cans of soda, for example. Short of that, the ice melted quickly and then it leaked significantly. We were on a 4 hr. road trip, and in that short period the ice had turned to water even though the items we put inside had been kept cold in the freezer prior to departure.

After reading the reviews I bit the bullet and ordered this, and it exactly what I wanted. You can't see it from the pictures, but the inside is a soft, smooth sky-blue liner. The material of the lining is unlike anything I've used before---smooth surface but very light. You might think of it as being like a small rubber sink, but lighter with a more washable surface. The liner is flexible but not foldable or crushable and has no sharp corners (it would survive being crushed, but is semi-stiff so cannot be stored crushed). This makes it great for cleaning---there are no corners for food to hide in, and it doesn't fold/wrinkle like many competitors, so you just wipe it out with a sponge or wash it in the sink. This is by far my favorite aspect of the pack---super easy to clean. I was also worried about the size, which turns out to be very good. All of our glass or plastic sandwich containers fit in easily, but without much extra room to slide around. So overal a really nice product.
I like it ok....

Bought this for my husband's lunch box. Nice looking. Adequate size - although I do wish I had bought the slightly bigger one - today I packed a thermos of soup, a sandwich, chips, yogurt cup and grapes also an ice pack. There wasn't enough room for a bottle of water. As with the reviews I read - the zipper feels flimsy - so we will see how long it lasts. The pocket on the outside is more just for looks - I don't think its really functional in any useful way. The sides are thin - but has kept his lunch reasonably cool at the office with the ice pack. That said, it does not look "girly" as many lunch bags do - and it is doing the job. Not sure how long it will hold up for daily commutes to work. One nice thing - when he lays his coffee thermos down in the empty bag without closing it completely - the coffee simply drips into the plastic liner - which is very easy to clean! Easy cleaning is definitely a bonus!
Makes a great lunchbox

I got this for my 5th grade son who didn't want a character lunchbox this year. It is very good quality, and I love how the inside liner is slick with no corners and no seams. It is really easy to wipe and keep clean with no hidden areas to collect spills or crumbs. It is also rigid enough to protect food from getting squished which is kind of hard to find in a reasonably sized lunchbox. It's very roomy...big enough for his lunch plus an after school snack with a little room left over. I like it enough that I plan to order one for myself to use to carry my lunch to work. I definitely recommend it...I only wish it came in other colors too.
Rigid and durable

The liner inside is really durable, and quite rigid. I was looking for something that wasn't like the types you find typically at your local store that doesn't hold its shape at all and this fit it perfectly. Its plenty large enough for a bowl, a large can of soup, a can of soda, as well as a small reusable container of fruits and veggies. And in the event of an accidental spill, easily rinses clean. Very happy with my purchase, highly recommend.
Great for lunches too

Use this almost daily for taking lunch to work (in an office) for the last several years. It's not a small, professional looking lunch bag, but functionality is perfect. Insulation works pretty well, size means I can put a bunch of leftovers in there straight from the refrigerator in fairly bulky storage containers without having to consolidate, and the clincher is the seamless plastic liner - makes cleanup trivial.
Great cooler/lunch box

I use this as a lunch box every day to take to work. It has a nice durable inner lining that helps keep things like crackers and chips from getting smashed and better even it makes it easy to clean out. I also have used it frequently to as a cooler. It holds 6 cans easily and still has room for ice. There is a nice little Velcro door on the lid so you don't have to unzip it to reach inside. The door is a little small for my hand so I just unzip it.
Bought as a lunchbag

I bought this for my 11 year old son to use as a lunch box. It's definitely roomy inside. It would hold a 6 pack just fine. The inside seems well insulated. The best part is how easy it is to clean, just wipe with a damp cloth and you're good to go. The only thing I don't like is the little flap on top. It's not needed and I think would be more of a hassle trying to get a can out especially once you were down to only a couple.
It works

It works, just not as well as the Coleman I just wore out after a couple of years. This one doesn't have as much insulation as the Coleman cooler of the same size. It will do for the the time being.
