Extremely hot handle

I ordered 6qt stockpot with lid. The description says stay cool handle but when I boiled water soon as I received it, almost burnt my fingers. I bought pot and pan from cuisinart multiclad pro together and their handle stayed cool during cooking so I thought it would do the same with my French collection stockpot but big Nono! Handles get very hot instantly! Be careful!
