Rattlers Snake Proof Gaiters

I recently took a several day hunting trip where I used these gaiters based on a friend’s recommendation. The overall build is very sturdy and while I did not encounter any snakes (which I was thankful for) these gaiters did a great job protecting me from thorns, briars, and other tough brush that would typically snag my clothes when walking through thick vegetation. However, I was very disappointed with the snaps at the bottom of the gaiters. Putting them on they are very stiff snaps and I would have thought they would stay snapped until I took them off. This was not the case though and I would have to resnap them frequently which became very annoying after a while. For the price I paid I just would’ve thought these snaps would have held up better. I think to continue using them I will put a cinching strap like the one at the top of the gaiters to keep them together.
