Cute doll, disappointing quality

I gave this to my daughter for her birthday in August. Overall this doll is adorable and she is my daughter's favorite baby. My daughter wanted her hair styled differently today so I took out the pigtails and discovered that the hair on the inside of the pigtails is cut very short so it would be completely impossible to style this doll's hair any other way. Also discovered that the seam in the wig is visible on her unless the hair is in pigtails. Had I known this I would have returned it. Unfortunately doesn't seem to be the heirloom quality I was hoping for given the price.

Beautiful doll, bad hair! Disappointed.

I received Happy Birthday Baby very quickly! I was excited but somewhat apprehensive about opening the box because I had read reviews about problems with her hair. She and her sweet outfit is beautiful, however I was not happy at all with her hair. It was choppy around the bangs and the left side above her ear was not glued down well. There were what appear to be glue specks on the back of her head near the pony tail part. I have seen much cheaper dolls put together better. I thought about getting a replacement (because she is sooo sweet) but didn't want to take a chance of receiving another one in the same condition. On a brighter note I also ordered and received Work Out Chic and she is just perfect! I gave Birthday Baby 3 stars because she is beautiful but would have rated her 5 if it wasn't a for the hair.
