Best water bladder I've owned.
By N. Richardson on Reviewed in the United States on July 23, 2013
I've owned many water bladders, Platypus, Camelbak, and various offbrand bladders. This bladder is better built, more durable, and easier to use than any of the rest. I saw a friend with a similar bladder on a winter camp trip and loved the fold and seal idea but the off brand version my friend had leaked like crazy all the time. The leaking caused ice in their packs and wet clothes it really was terrible. I saw this version and read the reviews and gave it a try. I've taken it on several day hikes, a couple overnight camp trips, and numerous dirt bike rides and still no leaks.I especially like the water valve design, it has a hard plastic cap to keep the mouthpiece clean and unsquashed which also helps prevent leakage. After you remove the cap the valve itself turns with turns the water on to drink from it. I've tested this while riding leaving the cap off and the valve open and it still didn't leak!Cleaning and drying this bag is easy because the opening is very large, I just put a spatula or a pair of tongs in the bag and set it on my dish drying rack with the rest of the dishes. The only thing I see that they could improve on would be to include one the little snap on gator clips so you can clip the mouthpiece to something making it easier to access.

Plastic taste
By Disappointed in Kingston Brass on Reviewed in the United States on June 5, 2019
Easier to clean than the leaky Camelbak it was meant to replace. Up in the air whether it is easier to fill because it's easier to spill if it's full when closing it compared to the Camelbak. It may just be that I haven't figured out a better way to hold it yet.The plastic taste is a deal killer, though. I washed and soaked it with dishwash soap and water for a week, then sanitized it with bleach water for a day, then air dried it for a couple of days. Took it to work and couldn't drink the water, the plastic taste was so bad. I'll try a denture-cleaning tablet in it next, then maybe a Camelbak cleaning tablet, if needed (even though I've read they are the same thing). The Camelbak tabs have always fixed the plastic taste in their reservoirs for me.If those don't work, I'll be going back to Camelbak, and this will go in the trash. Every one I've had developed a leak after a couple of years, but at least I could get rid of the plastic taste.Update 2020: It took a couple of weeks of daily cleaning to finally get the plastic taste out. The bite valve is better than the Camelbak big bite valve in that it doesn't eventually leak. If I bite too hard, it lets air in. Not a big deal. However, with the quality of my public water, the valve now has black mold in it, and it's going to be hard to clean that out. Might have to try a Camelbak valve on it.
