SURVIVES THE DESERT 🏜

We purchased this our first year in this house (2019). It gets very chilly outside from November to February in NW AZ. Table top pits are great but don't hold up well to the winds we have. This Hiland Tower won't put off as much heat but it's sturdy and can be used in breezy conditions. It has held up through some horrid storms in the summer and winter and still looks brand new. The igniter works perfectly every time. We had a patio heater tower like you see at venues and restaurant patios but it barely survived a full year. You can sit right next to this one without worrying about being too close to an open flame. It puts off just enough heat to cut that chill if you're having your morning coffee or evening wine. It was easy enough to put together myself and the only tip I can share is to make sure you hold down the dial after you've replaced a propane tank to prime the line. You hold down and quarter turn, press button, slowly release as you keep turning left to desired flame height. Love this thing and would love a second one but propane is too expensive for more than necessities! Oh and this tower is a conversation piece when having guests over. Especially lighting it at night, it gives the best ambiance!!!! A smaller table version would be super fun too. If you need a reliable and attractive heating device for your outdoor space, I highly suggest investing in this one. From 2019-Almost 2025 I have zero complaints but continually impressed by it.

Do NOT BUY-Trash and waste of Money

Had multiple problems with Unit . 1. Will start with assembly - Very hard to assemble the parts.Took almost 3 hrs.missing screws. The main door comes off every time unit is even touched . 2. The parts are very cheap quality .The heater looks good in photo but it’s made of very cheap material .the tube cover is very light aluminum which bends even with air . 3. Horrible Customer service . This was the major issue .The heater came with a broken Glass tube.I called the customer service and they told me to send picture and proof of receipt which I did .No news for 2 days so I called them and then the trauma started . First the sales person ( he gave his name as RR ) told me to call next day since they already closed .This was 2 hrs before their closing time .and that warranty people will come next day .Next day I called and he told me everyone is out for 4 days and he can’t help me .Then he yelled at me it’s not his problem if the tube came broken .Then he told me to wait till whatever time it takes so that they will review everything when the right time comes . Then he hung up on me saying Have a cold New Year and he doesn’t care if the glass came broken.Initially I was told all the pictures were good and then he tells me to send more pictures or return the unit . Literally took 3 hrs to assemble and now he wants me to disassemble and send the unit back. 4. Didn’t get a chance to even see if the heater really works . I would not recommend anyone even think of buying this heater.Problems happen but what matters is how people responsible solve the issue .With such irresponsible and rude customer service I will never buy nor recommend anyone to buy any of their products .
