This developed a hole in the cover almost immediately, ran unevenly from about the third week (cycling faster and slower at random), then died altogether after less than seven weeks, making it unbelievably expensive for what you get. Because I live in a climate that is scorchingly hot (>100 degrees) in August, I assumed that it was the regularly-occurring power slowdowns causing the uneven power. When it did work, it was frankly not as effective as the Thumper (Thumper E501 NA Sport Percussive Massager. My first Thumper lasted five years, the second five months. A number of other reviewers reported similar experiences, with newer units not lasting long, so I thought it was too big a risk to buy another one. Apparently, it is a common phenomenon, because I came across similar comments for many different products. I went back to the Thumper, because it costs about half as much, provides superior pain relief, and at least lasted five months.
