The good stuff (glyphosate)
By R. Mann on Reviewed in the United States on October 7, 2025
When RoundUp became under scrutiny a few years back due to it containing glyphosate, they were quick to replace it with some other compound (diquat... something). The box store brands did the same thing with their versions of weed killer. Forced to use them for a few years, I noticed that the diquat did in fact brown the weeds quicker, but it never actually killed them completely. I remember the glyphosate would take longer to kick in but once it did, the weed became dark brown and would not grow back. Well this Ranger Pro is the good stuff! In fact, since it is 41% glyphosate, I was able to mix up less and still got the same results! I mixed up 9oz for 2 gallons and did all of my rock beds and driveways. Again, nothing happened until day 3 or 4 with some yellowing but by day 6 and 7, all weeds were brown with no signs of returning! Yes 2.5 gal is a lot but will last a long time since this stuff actually works!

Really long wait for it to work!

I’ve used better. It takes a really long time for it to kill anything, but it eventually will. Bullzeye is much better .
