Great Speakers
By CAMesa on Reviewed in the United States on April 23, 2015
These sound fantastic. They look good too - the finish is actually darker and has a lot more cherry tone than in the pictures; the speakers really look like they have a true medium cherry veneer on them.Back to the sound - they're bright, clean, and powerful without distortion. The low end is very nice too - a pair of these alone actually have more extension than when crossed-over with two Polk PSW110s (yes, that's right, these have better bass response without my subs than with them). With amazing clarity and (close to) full spectrum response, listening to music in "pure direct" on these is great - I have been floored by the level of detail these speakers render. And the dynamic range is incredible - these really bring both the soaring peaks and subtle nuances in sources like opera to life. Also, I have not noticed any of the harshness or ear fatigue some mention about Klipsch horns. To me they just sound good, and keep sounding good all day long. But of course sound can be a very personal preference. If you're looking to step up to more serious speakers from something like BIC America or anything you can buy in the big box stores, you will be blown away. Also, if you've done a lot of research online, be wary of some of the criticism out there - I think a lot of it comes from folks used to much much more expensive speakers. Sure, these aren't going to match speakers four or more times as expensive, but in this price range, these are fantastic.

You will find Klipsch in all the Best Buys and other stores
By BillPen on Reviewed in the United States on February 3, 2015
I own a pair of KG-4 Klipsch that I purchased new in 1988. The biggest diff is the quality of the speaker, mine were manufactured in Arkansas, not China. Real oak, not veneer. Twin woofers, passive radiator and horn tweeter. The RF-82 sound ok but I would not trade mine. My KG back in 1988 were $500 a pair. You will find Klipsch in all the Best Buys and other stores, volume Chinese made speakers, no longer the audio quality of the past. Guess that goes with everything, lol!!
