Pure Heaven
By Amazonaholic on Reviewed in the United States on November 17, 2014
This is amazing. I live in an older home that is very hard to heat during the winter without having outrageous energy bills so I typically block off the areas of the house other than the living room and kitchen. Night time temps in the bedroom can be down as low as 45 degrees but crawling into bed when this has been preheating and feeling the warmth is pure heaven. I have diabetes and have problems with my feet being cold, even on warm days... this helps to keep my feet warm during the night. If you tend to be cold at night this is the answer to your prayers. *** UPDATE *** Feb 2 2015 After owning this for a few months and buying one for my mother I feel I need to address a few things. My mom lives on the east coast and has always been cold-blooded. I ordered one for her knowing how well they heat. However when she received it she had a problem with getting it to heat. The light on the controller would come on but the unit would not get hot. I contacted Amazon and they sent a replacement. The replacement unit did not work. So after another very long phone call with Amazon they sent out a third unit. Well I guess the ole "Third time is a charm" held true. It has been working great and she absolutely loves it. The other thing I would like to address is the amount of negative reviews about this product. I am not affiliated with this company in any way but just feel there is a lot of negative comments that I can't see how they come to those conclusions. The pad not fitting? Mine fits perfect, with or without a 2 inch piece of memory foam. The heated pad was so soft that I ended up removing my memory foam pad. Once person said the paid is slippery and the sheets come off. Have not had a single issue with even one corner coming off. Fit is tight and perfect. Humming transformers? Nope not a peep out of mine. No pre-heat? Duh turn it on high then turn it down lower when you get in bed ... it's PRE heated. Shutting off before morning? Never for me, get in bed around 11pm and if I don't remember to turn it off it's still on til 9am the next morning. Too hot or too cold? I think the range is great, higher settings like 8 - High are very warm but great for heating your bed up fast. 15 mins and it's taken off the chill then you can turn it down. I find that even on really cold nights (15 degrees) I can leave it on the 3 setting and it will be nice and comfortable. Since I live alone and the house temperature doesn't impact anyone else I now turn my furnace completely off in the evening before bed and just stay nice and snug on the heated pad. I'm sure shutting the furnace off has saved me much more than the pad has cost in electricity usage. When I woke up this morning it was 42 degrees in my bedroom and I slept great. I always have liked a cold bedroom but a warm bed. This is the ideal solution for me. TO sum up, this pad at this price is probably the best purchases I have made on Amazon. Period. If it died today even though I've only owned it a few months I would feel it was well worth the price/comfort and would happily buy another in an instant. Don't let any of the negative reviews sway your decision. How's it go? You can please some of the people some of the time but not all of the people all of the time?

Save your money
By Bob Flores on Reviewed in the United States on June 2, 2021
I purchased two of these for our twin beds in January 2021. In May, the transformer to power my side burned out and stopped working. Little did I know that this company has filed bankruptcy since a couple of years ago. I should have done my homework on this company, as I usually do. They are not answering their customer service number given. They have numerous complaints with the BBB that they have failed to respond to. Their product when it works is great, but judging by the number of product failures people have had, including mine; the materials they use are crapola. My side does not heat anymore and it's only a short matter of time before my wife's side stops working. What I don't get is WHY IS AMAZON STILL SELLING THEIR CRAP? Maybe Amazon can reimburse me for my loss, this company is not concerned about honoring their warranty. The only concern both of these companies have is processing your money for your payment. There was a reasonable assumption on my part that the sellers on Amazon were legit, and a certain amount of buyer protection existed through Amazon purchases. If that is true then, WHY IS AMAZON STILL SELLING THEIR CRAP?
