This glue is the best!
By Jessica on Reviewed in the United States on December 25, 2024
I have purchased the gel and original loctite multiple times from Amazon because it is amazing! It's ease of use and the control of distribution is on point. It dries so quickly and lasts. The only thing I have had an issue with it is,water. Too much contact with water and the glue loses its adhesive qualities. I have used it even to fix my glasses when I broke them. Give it a try it's great price and dries quickly!

Not that great on PLA, wastes a lot
By Steve on Reviewed in the United States on March 13, 2019
While these look like a pretty big bottle, they are really just a regular small tube of gel glue stuck inside a fancy dispenser. The dispenser makes it easy to open and use until you've used maybe half of the product, then it gets harder and harder to get anything out until you are practically breaking your fingers trying to get a drop. When I could get nothing more by squeezing, I cut open the dispenser with a utility knife to see what is inside. (be careful if you try this...side cutters might be a safer way) It looks like there is still a pretty good amount of glue left in the tube that you could probably use by squeezing more without the dispenser. It's also interesting that the labeling inside is different than the outside. I rate the dispenser a C-. It's easy to use at first, but then wastes a lot of glue unless you risk your fingers to cut it open. As for the performance of the glue itself, I wasn't that impressed on PLA. I had pieces that I 3D printed which are a close tolerance fit. I wanted to glue them together and make it a permanent bond so they would not come apart. Unfortunately, I've had to re-glue several of the parts already because the glue doesn't seem to be sticking very well. Even after drying for several days, if I get in and jiggle the parts I can get the glue bond to fail. It just doesn't seem to be wanting to stick to the PLA and is acting more like just a filler. So this hasn't been the miracle PLA glue I was hoping for. On a brighter note, I also needed to re-attach the thumb pad on one of my cameras where the factory glue had peeled up. I used some very small drops of this stuff every couple mm on the surface and it actually worked pretty well bonding rubber to metal. Time will tell if it lasts, but it does seem like it is adhering tightly and the bond occurred very quickly. So not completely awful. It seems to work better for some applications than others, but I think it's overpriced for what you get. Especially considering the waste if you aren't willing to cut it open. I'll probably keep looking next time for my miracle PLA glue.
